Shooting Architecture offers weekend workshops, and private tutoring for the photography student interested in pursuing a career in architectural photography or the interior designer or architect wishing to learn how to improve documentation of their own projects. Historical and contemporary locations are chosen not only for their aesthetic attributes but also for the unique photographic challenges they present. From camera position and image framing to exposure control and supplementary lighting, a wide array of photographic techniques, as used by architectural photographers, are discussed and demonstrated. Participants are urged to explore each building, inside and out and using their own equipment, with the assistance and supervision of the instructors.
Sign up for our next destination workshop to be held in Idyllwild, CA amidst the San Jacinto Mountains!
